Anne the elephant is still a hot story and efforts are under way to raise £1000,000 to improve her living quarters and make room for another 5 rescued elephants. I cannot think where the five animals would be coming from. Must be mainland Europe.

So far the appeal for cash has generated response from Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Princess Michael of Kent, amongst others.
