The Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums Nutrition Advisory and Research Group (CAZA-NARG) invites you to attend the 2010 Aquatic Zoo Animal Nutrition Workshop at the Biodôme de Montreal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from Tuesday November 16 to Friday November 19, 2010.
Day 1 (November 16): Aquatic Invertebrates
Day 2 (November 17): Aquatic Vertebrates (bony fish)
Day 3 (November 18): Aquatic Birds
Day 4 (November 19): Aquatic Mammals
This workshop is designed for professionals of zoological institutions with responsibilities for any aspect of dietary provision in an aquatic or semi-aquatic environment. The workshop materials will assist you in remaining up-to-date with research in aquatic animal nutrition and with recommended “best practices” relative to diet formulation, husbandry, pathology and, physiology.
There are four workshop packages that allow you to choose your area(s) of interest and we offer a reduced rate for students. Please address queries to monogastricnutrition@yahoo.ca
This workshop is given by Deborah McWilliams, MSc, Zoo Animal Nutritionist. Deb is a comparative zoo animal nutritionist with over 10 years experience in zoo animal nutrition consulting, education and publication. The Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums Nutrition Advisory and Research Group (CAZA-NARG) has provided zoo animal nutrition services to zoological institutions since 2001.
