Video Clip of Melbourne Zoo elephant calf
This is the baby female elephant which was born in Mebourne Zoo yesterday. I have watched a few clips, they are all the same. I am presuming that the two adult animals are the mother 'Dokkoon' and the father 'Bong Su'.
'Dok Koon' is an attractive yellow flower found in Thailand and Laos
'Bong Su' means 'Youngest Child'
It will be interesting to see what name will be chosen for the elephant infant.
